The Math Olympiad exam conducted for students from Grade 1 to Grade 8 is a nationally recognized competition that tests students’ mathematical skills and problem-solving abilities. The exam consists of a series of challenging maths problems that require logical thinking and creative problem-solving strategies.
Students who achieve outstanding scores in the national level exam are recognized as top performers and are awarded national level ranks. In this case, Thanuj Yogi secured the 10th rank, Jeevika Shri secured the 11th rank, and Hithesh secured the 24th rank.
These students, along with other high-achieving participants, are then selected to move on to the second level of the competition. The second level scholars include Nadida, Sivasaravanan, Ramakrishnan, and Ashanthika. These students have demonstrated exceptional mathematical abilities and are provided with further opportunities to showcase their skills and compete at a higher level.
Overall, the Math Olympiad exam aims to recognize and encourage talented students in the field of mathematics, nurturing their passion for the subject and promoting excellence in problem-solving.
