Navarathiri

Our Svvm school celebrated Navaratri with great enthusiasm and devotion, spanning nine days from October 3rd to 11th, 2024. The entire school came together to celebrate this significant festival, which honours the nine forms of Goddess Durga. The festivities commence with the lighting of the lamp by our revered Principal madam, during the morning assembly. Her auspicious presence set the tone for the days ahead, and the entire school echoed with divine energy.

For the nine days of Navratri, the morning assembly held a special place in our hearts. All students gathered together to chant, invoking the blessings and protection of Goddess Durga in our school’s Saraswati temple. The atmosphere resonated with devotion and spirituality.

A highlight of the celebration is morning prayers from our Svvm students from Grade 1 to 12 which involves Tamil spiritual songs, Divine tales and Sacred news. They mesmerised the audience by portraying the nine avatars of Goddess Durga, beautifully showcasing the triumph of good over evil through the defeat of King Mahishasura. Their grace and dedication were truly commendable.
