How is it set up?
The children’s parliament is thoroughly constituted by our vidhyaans as its members. Each class is designated as the state in their respective names and governed by the state cabinet constituted by the Chief-Minister, Education Minister, Health Minister, Social Minister and Sports Minister under the Governor being the class teacher. These ministers of each state collectively elect the central cabinet to be constituted, with the prime minister being the head followed by four ministers. This central cabinet along with other members of the parliament, elect the President and the Vice- president.
Functioning
Last Friday of every month, the Ministers of all the states assemble and discuss the activities, proposals to be carried out and problems to be sorted out. The children’s parliament session is held thrice in a year. I.e. on August 15, November 14 and January 26.The speaker and the Deputy Speaker, elected by the members, conduct the house.
How do the Children Participate?
- The ministers from each designated state represent as the members of the parliament with elected central cabinet headed by the Prime minister. The correspondent, the principal and teachers participate as spectators.
- All members of the parliament are allowed to speak and express their views on the issues related to the school and the society.
What do the Children do learn?
- They learn social responsibility.
- They learn to co-operate and co-ordinate with other members.
- They develop their knowledge in various fields of activities.
- They understand the importance of parliamentary democracy.

S.SWANTH
President
The President is the formal head of the state. The primary duty of the President is to preserve, protect and defend the constitution of School and the law of School as made part of his oath
V. PRAGADEESWARAN
Vice-President
The vice president of the school is the second –highest constitutional office. The Vice president shall act as president in the absence of the president and conducts the parliament. And he also conferred with the powers of conducting parliament on certain specific occasion.

Deputy Speaker
The Deputy Speaker of the School’s Parliament is the vice-presiding officer of the Parliament. He acts as the Speaker in case of leave or absence of Speaker.

Prime Minister
The prime minister of school, as addressed to in the constitution of the school, is the chief adviser to the president and head of the council of ministers. The prime minister leads the functioning and exercise of authority of the school’s parliament.
B.THIVYAA
Education Minister
The educational minister is responsible for the educational matters of the school. He is in constant touch with the education minister of all the states (classes) and conducts periodical meetings to discuss the students concern related to their studies. The governor (Class teacher) plays an assisting role.
N.KEERTHANA
Health Minister
The health minster takes hold of health and hygiene of our school students. Health ministers from each states (Classes) come under him and deals with health associated issues of the students. The Governor (Class teacher), provided with the information from this team could easily attend to the suffering student and give a remedy.
A.S.PRADEEP
Social Minister
The social minister is responsible for the general behavior and public attitudes of the students. With the team of social ministers from respective states(Classes),headed by the cabinet minister, thoroughly monitors and take the advice of the governor to the students. This team organizes various social programs with the thorough source of the governors. All kind of programs in the school are volunteered by this team.
H.KAVIN ROHITH
Sports Minister
The school going children encounter various academic related issues .It’s the game that gives him a space to relax and at the same time gets motivated to reach the targets . The cabinet minister of sports delivers a valuable duty in bringing out the students to participate in various games and sports activities. The physical director of our school along with the cabinet and other state ministers of sports encourage and achieve the participation of the students in the games and sports activities, take feedback of the students and represent to the management. The cabinet minister with the appropriate guidance of the Physical Director takes care of all sports related need.
