On 21st February, Vidhya Vishwalaya CBSE School organized an engaging Debate Competition for students of Grades 5 to 9, encouraging them to develop critical thinking, public speaking, and persuasive communication skills.
Students of Grades 5 and 6 debated the thought-provoking topic, “Should Magical Creatures Be Given Equal Rights as Wizards?” Through imaginative arguments and confident presentations, participants showcased their creativity, logical reasoning, and ability to defend their viewpoints.
Meanwhile, students of Grades 7, 8, and 9 debated on the relevant topic, “Waste Management Inside the Campus.” Participants discussed practical solutions for maintaining a clean and sustainable school environment, emphasizing the importance of environmental responsibility and collective action.
The judges evaluated the participants based on content, confidence, clarity, rebuttal skills, and overall presentation. The competition concluded with the recognition of the best speakers, while all participants were appreciated for their enthusiasm, preparation, and exemplary debating skills.
