TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION

TEACHERS’ DAY CELEBRATION – Teachers’ Day is a special day for the appreciation of teachers, and may include celebrations to honor them for their special contributions in a particular field area, or the community in general.
In India Teacher’s Day is celebrated on 5th of September as a tribute to the contribution made by the teachers towards the community. Since 1962 the day commemorates the birthday of Dr Sarvepalli Radhakhrishnan, a great teacher and a staunch believer of education, known for his contribution towards the education system of India. According to Dr Radhakhrishnan, “teachers should be the best minds in the country”.
On the Occasion of Teacher’s Day, our students spoke on the topic ‘ The contribution of a great leader as a teacher to the Society’ and ‘Devotion of the student to the Guru’. The Chief guest and the correspondent of SVVM Matric Higher Sec.School has consented to be the judge and distributed the prizes to the winners.
A Question hour had been organized and the students interrogated connecting to various issues to the teacher who responded positively with great spirit.
In the after-noon session, A fruitful and useful discussion, was made by the correspondent with all the members of the staff. The chief guest gave valuable suggestions to take up the challenges to be met out by the teachers in the expecting educational reforms.
