Field Trip To Thrissur- Field trips leave spatial memories embedded in the brain.Our journey started with blissful experience at vadakkunnathan temple.This ancient Shiva temple is a classic example of architectural style of Kerala with monumental towers on all four sites and also a Kuttambalam. We could also got to know a little about the mural paintings on the walls of the temple.Our next stop is the Kerala,Dutch style palace-The Shakthan Thampuran palace.Our little buds got chance to see the bronze gallery,sculpture gallery,megalithic gallery and gallery of household utensils made of bronze and copper used by the rulers of Kochi. Entranced by the beauty of the palace.Then we made our next stop at Thrissur zoo.Our children were so much excited to get a chance to see all the wild animals at a closer prescimity. A marvelous experience with great fun and excitement was all about the day on a trip to Thrissur.
Children’s Day – Time for fun,cheers and joy.That’s all about children’s day.Giving them the time of their life. A day of bounteous activities were planned for our vidhyan’s by the teachers. Our boisterous vishwalayan’s exuberantly participated in the games and had exhibited fun.The day ended with the children’s hunting the treasure in the treasure hunt and vanquishing their gifts.
EVENT ON RELIGION & MANKIND – This event was taken as an opportunity to create Knowledge about the Religion to our young minds. Also they gained knowledge about respecting all religions and to lead their life in a peaceful manner. Students exhibited their communal harmony through a wonderful mime. Students shared their knowledge with their friends as a thoughtful talk-show by quoting the religious books. The young dazzling stars narrated a religious story in their babbling voice. Finally the day ended with a oath ” We will show tolerance towards all religion through our religious harmony and thereby upholding humanity ”
EVENT ON CULTURE & HERITAGE – This event was scheduled as a chance for us to impart in children our Culture. Also they were educated about the Monuments that adds up beauty to our Country. Children expressed their knowledge gathered through various modes of presentations. Event got highlighted by the skit performed on ‘Culture’. Children portrayed our culture of attire, respect and greeting. Thus the event ended with a cultural treat.
GOKULASHTAMI – The day was Divine and colorful. Our Vishwalaya Gokulans dazzled in their traditional wear, and our Radhas too. Children were taught about Shri Krishna’s birth and the moral that is delivered through his life. Also they got to know how Gokulashtami has to be celebrated spiritually in a perfect way. Children presented their love for Krishna through their Geetha chanting and music. They enjoyed the day a lot and ended up with ‘Uriyadi’ event.
VANA MAHOTSAVA DAY – “Trees mean Water; Water means Bread; Bread is Life”. On this day of celebrating Forests, our kids have started their journey of knowing the history behind Vana Mahotsav, its importance and impact on our Mother Earth. Children with an opportunity provided by the Management for celebrating trees, shared their knowledge through various acts focusing on several topics like Vana Mahotsav history, Forest conservation, Medicinal values of plants and the battle between hybrid Vs indigenous species. Kinder garten kids started the program with their sweet lines “Little plant from the seed” which got highlighted by primary grade children’s skit ‘Parliament of Trees’. In the skit children showcased the emotions of trees. Exhibitions have been arranged on ‘Medicinal plants’ and the day ended by planting trees. Our heartfelt thankfulness to the Management for the day.
ENVIRONMENT DAY – “Stopping pollution is the best solution”. Vishwalayans – Protectors of Environment with a clear understanding about the impacts of plastic pollution have stepped forward in educating the common people regarding the ways to control it. They educated the audience through speech, skit, power point presentations and collage work. Our kinder garten children suggested “Not to use poly bags” through a rhyme. Our primary grade children displayed their handmade products out of plastic, focusing on ‘Reuse’. Also products out of paper and jute as a substitute to plastic marking the point of ‘Refuse’. We are glad that we have got a valuable opportunity to put forth efforts against plastic pollution. We thank our Management for the opportunity.
GRADUATION DAY – Our Vishwalayans have successfully completed this academic year facing competitions, challenges, failure, success,….and understanding things apart from books. In an idea to mark each one’s talent and achievement we planned for a Graduation day. It left the Parents with an opportunity to be proud of their kids who were explaining several social issues to their Parents through rhymes, mono-act, demonstrations and PPTs. it’s been our pleasure to give a dais to our Vishwalayans to showcase their talent who glorified the day with their confidence and charm. We thank our Management who gave us with such a wonderful occasion.
QUIZ FIESTA – Being a team well aware of multi-dimensional knowledge’s importance, we arranged a session of Knowledge battle among the children to test who is that “Giga Minded” kid with knowledge in all fields. Questions were thrown to Vishwalayans from all topics. The battle went on very well interestingly with a tough clash between soo many brains for each question.
“Life is nothing without Science”
Science being our life we felt the pleasure in honoring Science on the day of Science by celebrating it. We were very thankful to the Nobel laureate Sir.C.V.Raman.
Vishwalayans got to know about all the inventions, practically demonstrating it in their classes. With practical experience they came up with a clear understanding about each and every principle that is behind each invention and most importantly the principles involved in our day to day life activities. On the day Vishwalayans took a transformation as young APJ. We were very happy to watch our kids coming up with instant answers, competing healthily with each other in the quiz program. On the whole we enjoyed Science to the maximum. We are very thankful to the Management for supporting and motivating us every now and then.
